At Brave Arrows Midwifery, we believe birth is sacred, intentional, and designed by God. As a Christian homebirth midwife serving Erie, Colorado and surrounding Northern Colorado communities, I provide faith-centered, evidence-based care for low-risk families seeking peaceful, supported home birth. Together, we steward your pregnancy with wisdom, prayer, and preparation—trusting the Lord with the outcome while faithfully walking in skill, safety, and strength.
Prenatal Care
It all begins with a test. Pregnancy can be scary and overwhelming. We walk with families overseeing their physical, spiritual, and emotional health as they prepare for a homebirth. We see people in office every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and then every week until your baby arrives. We offer labs in house. We are a full family care unit- we love when Dad, Grandma, and siblings join us and believe the family is central to the birth experience.
Labor and Birth
The big event is here~ You hired your midwives to attend in your home. We will be with you from active labor until your baby arrives. We work in a team of three, we bring all of our equipment with us; clean up and tuck you both in. We offer waterbirth and have tubs that you can use during your due window. We stay at least a few hours after baby is born and are on call to you during that time as well.
Postpartum Care
Postpartum support is incredibly important! We believe moms and babies need to rest and recover. We love for mom to stay in bed for at least a week and around the bed at least two weeks. We offer two in home postpartum visits, and then two more visits in office to celebrate and support your growth as a family.
