About Us
Bethany Melton, CPM, Registered Midwife
Bethany loves babies and supporting mamas and daddy’s through the process of welcoming a new little one into their family!
She began her career as an RN in Cardiac medicine, where she quickly became disillusioned with the western medical system and decided to dive further into holistic health. She has always had a desire to support birth; however, she believes that God made the mom’s body and her baby to do this work: and over the years she has seen how it does that best when it is in it’s most supported enviornment- home.
After having her first son she decided to pursue the doula career where she has supported hundreds of families in all kinds of births since 2016. In 2019 the Lord opened up an opportunity for her to work in birth centers around CO; tying her love of clinical birth with supporting families out of the hospital. In 2025 she finished her midwifery training and gained National Certification through North American Registry of Midwives in 2025. She currently has attended over 300 births of all kinds. Within this experience there have been numerous natural vaginal births, breech, twins, VBACs (Vaginal Birth after Cesearan), Water births, Nitrous Oxide births, Narcotics, epidurals, non-planned homebirths, and high risk medical births. She believes in the physical ability as well as the physiological process of birth; and knows how to support it. She often describes birth as a pool to be watched- midwives come and watch the pool; only jumping in when needed- She is NRP and CPR certified and brings a team of three all births.
She supports families around Erie, CO and when not at a birth can be found homeschooling her five kids and managing her small farmette.
